Quick update on CS1k 4.0 & 4.5:

As of July 1 2010, the software release of 4.0 and 4.5 for the Cs1K will not be available for any software expansion.

Release 4.0 and 4.5 July 2010 (Manufactured Discontinued as per the NES LCM Policy) (see CS1000_Porftolio_LCM_Update – for more info)

Following CS1000 software releases:

Anyone that has no plans too upgrade in the near future but are unsure of their system capacity should look to see if they have enough ISM available for analog, digital and IP licenses, and make sure their existing CS1K at 4.0 or 4.5 will sustain any reasonable growth.

Hi Adam,

The real issue is that after June 30, 2010 any customers running software 4.0 or 4.5 won’t be able to order any additional ISMs (licenses). This means that customers won’t be able to add any additional TNs unless they already have sufficient ISMs previously purchased.

Cheers!
