Avaya announced the End-of-Life of the G860 gateway. In the official EOL bulletin Avaya introduced the AudioCodes Mediant 3000 as a cost-effective High Density SIP Trunk gateway alternative to the G860, meeting the needs of both service providers and enterprises for a reliable carrier-grade platform.

Mediant 3000/1000 E-SBC Avaya Certified

The Mediant 3000 E-SBC and the Mediant 1000 E-SBC have been certified to connect the following Avaya platforms with SIP Trunking Service Providers: Session Manager, Communication Manager and IP Office. The official certifications of compliance are now available on Audiocodes website and on the Avaya DevConnect website, showing all of Audiocodes DevConnect certifications.

AudioCodes solutions for Avaya are described in two updated presentations: one is an overview of all AudioCodes Solutions for Avaya, and the other focuses on Avaya DevConnect certified E-SBCs. We published a new case study on SWBC, a large company that used AudioCodes gateways for stand-alone survivability of its remote offices in an Avaya contact center environment.
